General
Common questions about SpotSaver and how it works.
SpotSaver is a virtual queue and paid skip-the-line platform. Guests discover venues, save a spot from their phone, and get a QR code for entry, while businesses get one place to streamline queues, customer flow, staff, and analytics.
Guests pick a venue, then choose their party size, plan (Basic, Premium, or VIP), and time to save their spot. They get a QR code right away and scan it at the door to walk right in. As a business, your team manages every queue live from the Pro App.
Any business with a line: nightlife, medical and animal care, retail and estate sales, casinos and entertainment, and special events. Guests can use it at any participating venue.
Yes. Businesses can run multiple venues from one account, set up multiple queues within a single venue, and manage each location’s queues, staff, and reporting separately or together.
Yes, and it only takes a few seconds. Enter your mobile number or email, and we’ll send you a one-time code to verify it. Businesses create a Pro App account to set up their venues and queues.
SpotSaver turns your line into a revenue stream. Run free queues alongside paid Premium and VIP spots, reach guests with direct-to-consumer messaging, and track it all with live analytics, all in one platform with no extra hardware.
Visitor App
Everything guests need to know about finding venues and saving a spot.
Yes. The SpotSaver app is free to download and use, with no subscription or membership fees. Each venue decides which of its plans are free and which are paid, and you’ll see the price in each plan’s description before you book.
Open the SpotSaver app and allow location access to see participating venues on the map and in the Near Me list, each with its next available spot. You can also search for any venue or location in the search bar.
Choose a venue, then pick your party size, date, plan (Basic, Premium, or VIP), and time, and tap Continue. Your QR code is ready right away, your spot appears in My Spots, and we’ll send reminders as your entry time approaches.
Yes. You’ll get reminders leading up to your entry time and a notification when it’s time to enter. Just show your QR code at the door.
Yes. Each guest in your party gets their own QR code. Open your reservation summary in My Spots to share or resend codes by text message or straight from your contacts.
Tap the heart on any venue to add it to Favorites for quick access next time.
Each venue sets how long your spot is held, so it varies by location. We’ll send you a reminder 5 minutes before your QR code expires. Once it expires, you may not be able to enter. If your plans change, make sure there’s a new spot available that meets your needs before you cancel. Book the new spot first, then cancel your original spot in My Spots (paid spots are not refundable if you cancel).

Yes. Run multiple venues from one account, set up multiple queues within a single venue, and manage each location’s queues, staff, and reporting separately or together. Each venue can have its own settings, like hours, plans, pricing, and how long spots are held, and you can compare performance across any time period.
Yes. Give each team member the right access, from door staff who scan QR codes to managers who change pricing and view reports.
Yes. Tap the Walk-in button on the scanning page to add a guest who doesn’t have a QR code. Walk-ins are standard spots based on your average visit time, and no customer information is collected. Each walk-in checks out automatically at the time set in your location preferences, so your guest counts stay accurate.
Yes. Direct-to-consumer messaging lets you send updates and important information straight to the people in your queue.
Real-time visitor flow analytics show queue volume, peak periods, entry patterns, and check-ins, plus spots booked by plan, cancellations, expirations, and repeat visitors. Track transactions, payouts, and paid-spot revenue, and compare any time period so you can staff and price smarter.
Business Plans & Pricing
Choosing the right plan for your business.
Three plans: Pilot (60 days, free) to try SpotSaver, Core for growing multi-location operators, and Enterprise for brands that need white-label and custom features.
Yes. The Pilot plan gives you 60 days free so you can see the value firsthand before you commit.
Absolutely. Move from Pilot to Core, or talk to us about Enterprise, whenever your needs grow.
Yes. You set the price for each paid plan, like Premium and VIP, and choose when they’re live. Offer paid spots only during certain hours, like your busiest times, or keep them on all day. You can make every queue paid, keep every queue free, or mix both.
Revenue from paid spots is paid out weekly as standard, and custom payout schedules can be arranged when you sign. You can track every transaction and payout in the Pro App.
Yes. Enterprise includes a fully branded white-label experience, custom features and integrations, plus ongoing maintenance, updates, and development support as your business grows.
Visitor Payments
How payments work when you book a paid spot.
When you book, choose the plan that works best for you. Each plan’s description shows its price, so you’ll know the cost before you book. If you choose a paid plan, you’ll see a full payment breakdown before you confirm, and you can view it anytime in My Spots.
Paid spots include a small SpotSaver service fee, which helps us run the platform and keep improving your experience. You’ll see it in your payment breakdown before you confirm.
Major cards are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Maestro, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay, all through a secure checkout.
Yes. Payments are processed through a secure, encrypted checkout that meets the highest industry standard for card security. SpotSaver and venues never see or store your full card details.
Go to My Spots and select the spot you’d like to view to see its full payment breakdown. If you have email notifications turned on, you’ll also receive an email with the details of every spot you book.
At this time, paid spots aren’t refundable, including cancellations, expired QR codes, and missed entry times. If a venue cancels or can’t honor your spot, contact SpotSaver support at support@myspotsaver.com and we’ll work with you to find a solution.

Technical Support
Quick fixes for common issues.
Make sure you’re showing the right QR code for this venue and time, and that it hasn’t expired. Turn up your screen brightness and hold your phone steady. If it still won’t scan, the venue may choose to check you in as a walk-in instead.
Go to Profile and check which notifications you have turned on: SMS, push, or email. Then make sure notifications are allowed for SpotSaver in your phone settings and that you have a data connection. Push notifications are sent only when you’re not actively using the app.
Wait a minute, then tap Resend. If you’ve requested more than one code, use the most recent one. Check that your phone number (including country code) or email address is entered correctly. For text messages, make sure you have signal and your phone isn’t blocking texts from unknown numbers. For email, check your spam or junk folder. Still nothing? Contact support@myspotsaver.com.
The SpotSaver app runs on iOS and Android. The Pro App is web-based and works in any modern browser on a computer, tablet, or phone.
